Terminator 2
Terminator 2 Rated 5/5 based on 3 votes

Terminator 2 is one of the most iconic films ever released, and while it’s been almost 30 years that the film first hit our movie screens – way back in 1991 in fact – it’s still one of the most popular and most commonly-watched films to date.

Now, as you probably already know, Terminator 2 features Arnold Schwarzenegger, as he rights to protect John Connor – a stark contrast to the death mission which viewers would have seen him take in previous episodes!

Anyway, onto the game itself…

Terminator 2 slot game uses Microgaming’s esteemed 243-ways-to-win format, which means there’s no pay-lines you need to watch out for.

Instead, you simply need to match three or more symbols on consecutive reels from left-to-right, in order to secure a win, and the symbols themselves include traditional playing card symbols, including Ten, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace as the low-value symbols, and Terminator 2 specific symbols for the high-value ones.

The latter includes a Metallic Robot, John Connor, Sarah Connor, the T-800 Terminator, the new T-1000 Terminator, and Arnie, of course.

There’s also a scatter symbol which takes the form of a Blue Portal Sphere, and the T2 symbol is the wild symbol in the game, and substitutes for all other symbols within the game, bar the scatter symbol.

If you manage to land three, four, or five of the scatter symbols, then you’ll trigger the free-spins bonus-round. Now, an extra row of symbols is then added to the game, taking it from a 243-ways-to-win format, to a 1024-ways-to-win format, and this allows you – naturally – a lot more ways that you can win!

There’s also the possibility of triggering the “Hot mode”. If you’re lucky enough to trigger this, a TON more wilds will be added onto the screen, making wins a lot easier to come across in the free-spins bonus-round. (To give you an idea of the potential hot mode offers, it’s rare to see a hot mode bonus that pays less than 500X your stake.)

Now, there’s also something called T-800 Vision, and this can be triggered randomly in the base-game on any non-winning spin. If triggered, you’ll see the game screen take on a red tint, and any character symbols will award small cash prizes. If there is just one of the scatter symbols in view, you’ll be awarded the free-spins too, so it’s well-worth sticking around for!

Pros: Hot mode is one of the most sought-after bonuses of any slot – it can be phenomenally well, and it’s worth sticking around for.

Cons: The regular bonuses don’t tend to pay that well, so don’t expect more than 100X for most of the time.
