Lucky Witch
Lucky Witch Rated 5/5 based on 1 votes

When it comes to Halloween-inspired slots we’re used to seeing quite a few from software providers around the world, and Lucky Witch – a slot released by popular developer Microgaming – is one of the better games fitting this creepy theme.

In this review we’re going to take a look at what Lucky Witch video slot has to offer, and why it’s one of the software providers best, yet most-underplayed titles!

Alongside all of Halloween’s “to-be-expected” themes like pumpkins, and witches, you’ll see that the game incorporates a number of spooky, somewhat scary symbols, including a potion vial, a crystal, a gargoyle, a lizard, an owl, and a black cat.

The wild symbol within the game is a witch, and there’s two different feature symbols, the first of which is a “Mystery Bonus” symbol, and the second of which is a “Scatter” symbol.

The main bonus you’ll come across in Lucky Witch is the free-spins bonus-round, and this is triggered by landing three, four, or five of the scatter symbols anywhere in view during the main, regular base-game.

Once you manage to do so, you’ll be awarded a fixed total of 13 free-spins, and while there’s nothing too special going on within the bonus itself, it is possible to trigger the next bonus – the “Mystery Bonus”.

Now, in order to trigger the mystery bonus, you need to land three of the mystery bonus symbols on reel one, three, and five, and you’ll then enter one of four different bonus games, all of which are chosen randomly, and explained below.

The first is the Magic Potion Bonus game, and this is a "Pick Me Bonus”, where you pick from potion vials to uncover various cash prizes, which are then added to your balance.

The second is called the Pumpkin bonus game, and this sees five pumpkins appear on your screen; you must choose one of them, and you can then choose to accept or decline the prize. (It’s essentially a Deal or No Deal type of game.)

The third bonus-round is the Spell book bonus game, and this sees three books appear on your screen. You then pick one, which reveals a multiplier which is applied against your stake.

The fourth and final bonus-round is the Secret vault bonus game, and this shows you 12 vaults, all which contain cash prizes. Simply choose three, and you get to keep whichever prizes you manage to uncover!

Pros: The five-different bonus-round features makes it an exciting playing experience, as you’ll never know which one you’re going to get next!

Cons: The bonuses don’t tend to pay too well, so you can expect them quite frequently.
