Emoticoins slot - Free Play - Game Review
Emoticoins is a new slot, about to be released by Microgaming, and while it’s a little surprising to see Microgaming come out with a game that NetEntertainment have literally just begun to release (Net Entertainment’s is called Emoji Planet, and is the first slot of its kind to use emoticons as its central theme), it’s worth noting that these two software providers have a long history of competing with one another, and it’s often a tit-for-tat kind of race, which seems both incorporating and building games using similar themes to one another.
While Microgaming have been quite secretive about the exact details of Emoticoins, some details have been made public, and one of these is the symbols that will be used.
As you can imagine (and we appreciate, it shouldn’t take a genius to work this out!), the symbols are a mixture of Emoticons, and traditional playing card symbols, including Ten, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace (the latter being the lower-paying symbols within the game), and despite featuring very small differences, the symbols look virtually identical to the ones found on iOS devices – later made famous by WhatsApp and other Social media type Apps.
The game’s exact bonus-round features haven’t been announced, but Microgaming have told us that there will be a free-spins round, although it’s not entirely clear what the free-spins round will feature – how many spins you get – or whether there’s any other bonuses or perks within the game.
If Emoticoins is like Microgaming’s past releases, we can expect something to be included extra – but it’s just a waiting game to see what this is, when they finally announce the exact details!
Rest assured, we’ll keep you updated as soon as we hear updates from the software provider, so be sure to check back on this page regularly, to avoid missing out!
Fancy enjoying Emoticoins from your mobile device? Well, it’s very likely you’ll be able to, thanks to the mobile-optimised version of the majority of Microgaming’s slots now being available – and for a NEW game…
It’s almost certain they’ll be offering a mobile-optimized version!
But, again – it’s worth keeping an eye on this page, or even bookmarking it, as we’ll be bringing you the latest on the game – and the subsequent mobile development – as soon as we hear word of what Microgaming are planning – so keep an eye out, and check back regularly!
