Tarzan of The Apes Slot Game Review
Tarzan of the Apes is a 5-reel, 25-pay line Video Slot game from Aristocrat Gaming Technologies, and it’s the third title in Aristocrat Gaming Technologies Tarzan series.
Now, don’t confuse the game with Microgaming’s Tarzan slot game – while the game’s share similarities, they’ve vastly different, and both offer completely different gaming experiences – in our opinion – Aristocrat Gaming Technologies is substantially better!
As the name gives away, Tarzan of the Apes is centred around the Tarzan book, released by critically-acclaimed author Edgar Rice Burroughs back in 1912.
The book has since gone on to become a TV and Film hit, with even more verticals featuring the character and his adventures, from video games, to comics, and even memorabilia!
Tarzan of the Apes is Aristocrat Gaming Technologies approach to offering a more dynamic, High-definition experience to players, and this is made immediately apparent with the on-screen graphics.
They’re presented in incredible definition, and you’ll really want a 1080P monitor, so you can appreciate the brilliantness of the graphics presented!
You also won’t see any traditional playing card symbols, including 10, J (Jack), Q (Queen), K (King), and A (Ace); instead, you’ll see Tarzan himself, Jane Porter, a Machete, a Compass, a Bingo Drum, and the Jungle Animals – which basically replace the playing-cards (they’re lower paying).
As with many of Aristocrat Gaming Technologies most popular Video Slot, there are a ton of bonuses – four in total. The first is the Stampede Remix, and here, any number of symbols in the base-game can turn wild at random.
The second feature is the Tarzan Wild Swing, and here, Tarzan will randomly swing across the screen, turning a number of symbols in wilds. Tarzan keeps swinging back and forth until he’s done, and this can result in massive wins, if it’s your lucky day!
The third feature is called the City of Gold, and this is a sub of the Tarzan Wheel Bonus (OK, there’s 5 bonuses), and here you get to pick Jungle Animals for random cash prizes.
The fourth feature is also a sub of the Wheel Bonus, and if you pick this bonus from the wheel, you’ll get free-spins, where – on each spin – Tarzan will appear and fire arrows on the reels, turning symbols randomly wild.
Finally, you’ve got the Wheel Bonus itself, which is triggered by getting two wheel symbols on reels 1 and 5. On the Wheel Bonus, you can win cash prizes, as well as entry to the other two bonuses mentioned.
Pros: Five great bonuses ensure you’re NEVER bored playing Tarzan of the Apes!
Cons: The music is a little bit of a let-down – there’s not much suspense music.
