Flying Horse slot - Free Play - Game Review
Flying Horse is an American, “Old Wild West” themed video slot from Ainsworth Technologies, and using 5 reels, and 100 pay lines, it’s quite unlike most of the games you’re probably used to!
The game benefits from superb graphics, unique animations, and a great bonus-round, and is, by far, one of the better games from Ainsworth Technologies!
Players can spin from a minimum of £1 a spin, and £100 is the maximum spin amount, and while this is generally a bit higher than most games (in terms of the minimum spin amount), it’s worth noting that it’s due to the 100 pay lines.
First off, you’ll notice a range of symbols, including low-paying ones which are traditional playing card symbols, including 10, J (Jack), Q (Queen), K (King), and A (Ace), and the high-paying ones, including a River, a Canyon, a Diamond, a Horse, a Lucky “7”, and an Eagle. There’s also a Wild Symbol, which substitutes for all symbols aside from the scatter symbols.
Now, the main attraction of Flying Horse is the free-spins round, and this is triggered when you manage to land three, four, or five of the scatter symbols on any spin.
When you do so, you’ll then be awarded with 8 free-spins, and these are played out on a giant 5-reel, 9-row screen – quite a lot different than anything you’ve seen before!
During the free-spins around, multiple reels can turn fully-wild, and this is achieved by landing the Horse symbol anywhere on the reel. This is especially profitable thanks to the 9 rows – which equates to a LOT of potential to actually land the horse symbol!
You can also re-trigger the feature by landing another three, four, or five scatter symbols anywhere in sight, although it’s worth noting that when you do so, you only get 5 free-spins, as is the case with most of Ainsworth Technologies’ games. Still, there’s no cap on the number of times you can re-trigger the feature, and 5 extra spins IS an extra 50% of the initial bonus, so it’s not bad!
As mentioned, Flying Horse is now available thru Slots4play iOS App , although Ainsworth Technologies are slowly re-building all their games to be mobile-optimised, so stay tuned as it’s unlikely to be long before we see the other games ready for phones and tablets!
